Spectra7 to Showcase Data Center Products at OFC

Highlighting Market Adoption of Active Copper Interconnects

SAN JOSE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. (TSX:SEV) (“Spectra7” or the “Company”), a
leading provider of high-performance analog semiconductor products for
broadband connectivity markets, announced that it will be showcasing its
innovative GaugeChangerTM technology for data center Active
Copper Cables (ACCs) at the Optical Networking and Communications
Conference & Exhibition (OFC) in San Diego, CA running from March 5th
though the 7th, 2019.

“We’ve seen a fantastic response for our active copper cable technology,
especially in the hyperscale data center market,” said Spectra7’s CEO
Raouf Halim. “With the buildout of these data centers accelerating, we
believe OFC 2019 is the perfect venue to highlight our new technologies.
We look forward to meeting both current and new customers to demonstrate
how our semiconductors can accelerate their product development cycles
as data rates increase.”

GaugeChangerTM is an innovative and disruptive technology
that allows copper to extend much longer lengths without the cost and
power penalty of optics. It works equally well at 25 Gbps NRZ and 50
Gbps PAM-4 enabling new connector standards of 100, 200 and 400 Gbps.

Spectra7 will be showcasing its GaugeChangerTM technology at
Booth #5408

The Ethernet Alliance will also be hosting several extensive
interoperability demonstrations and showcasing Spectra7’s GaugeChangerTM
technology at Booth #4749
