New mobile computer and imager connect healthcare providers to the
right assets, data and people for better patient outcomes
ORLANDO, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Zebra
Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), an innovator at the edge of
the enterprise with solutions and partners that enable businesses to
gain a performance edge, will be showcasing mobile
collaboration solutions on new mobile computing and data capture
devices that help improve the quality, safety and cost of patient care
at HIMSS19
(Booth #947). In addition, the booth will also feature interactive demos
highlighting Zebra™ wristband and label printers, scanners and software
across patient
identity, real-time
intelligence and non-acute care solutions. Zebra’s Independent
Software Vendor (ISV) partners
will showcase communication and point-of-care applications that
streamline and optimize clinical workflows to improve the quality and
safety of patient care.
The new Android™powered TC52-HC
touch computer and the handheld, hybrid DS9900
Imager Series for Lab are engineered to help enhance productivity,
reduce errors and are built to withstand repeated exposure to
disinfectants often used in healthcare settings. The TC52-HC eliminates
the need for providers to carry multiple devices, enabling them to
securely communicate with other staff members, access patient data and
capture high-quality image/video via one device. By efficiently
streamlining workflows, the TC52-HC touch computer increases
productivity and collaboration, allowing caregivers to spend more time
with patients at the point-of-care. The hybrid DS9900 imagers enhance
lab workflows and efficiency by allowing lab technicians to accurately
scan and capture small, curved and color-coded barcodes while seamlessly
switching between handheld and handsfree modes.
Zebra also recently announced its intent to acquire Temptime
Corporation, a leading developer of temperature monitoring solutions
for mission-critical healthcare applications. Once completed, this
acquisition will advance Zebra’s smart supplies portfolio, helping
healthcare and life sciences customers gain better visibility into their
assets across the continuum of care.
