Recognized for “Best in Mobile” Cloud Solution, Fuze Facilitates
Deeper Collaboration and Increased Productivity across Device Types
BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Fuze,
the leading cloud-based communications and collaboration platform
provider for the modern global enterprise, today announced its
recognition as a winner in the 2018-2019 Cloud
Awards Program in the “Best in Mobile” Cloud Solution category. The
program honors global excellence and innovation in cloud computing.
“Mobile workers deserve the flexibility to work how and when they want
on the device of their choice,” said Michael Affronti, SVP of Product at
Fuze. “This recognition reflects Fuze’s commitment to the growing
mobile-first workforce, providing a seamless user experience that allows
them to do their best work from anywhere.”
Cloud providers are supporting the needs of an increasingly mobile and
distributed workforce, improving productivity and accelerating digital
transformation. Fuze’s mobile-first solution delivers a desktop-level
user experience and is designed to simplify and better support frontline
workers who use a smartphone or tablet as their primary communications
and collaboration device.
“Once more this year, we can see how the cloud continues to disrupt and
make innovation an essential component along the entire value chain,”
said Cloud Awards organizer Larry Johnson. “We have seen the careful
balance being struck between driving adoption, safeguarding retention
and innovating in order to streamline business processes. In many cases,
these considerations are complex.”
Enhancements to Fuze’s mobility platform provide a number of options for
personalization, including customized shortcuts and widgets, as well as
programmable muting and snoozing cycles to control how and when
employees stay connected. In 2018, Fuze introduced Car Mode
capabilities, including hands-free voice command functionality to
increase the safety of collaboration, while on the go. Other key
features include network prioritization, which intelligently monitors
for connectivity and quality issues to notify users when to switch
between Wi-Fi and cellular networks.
