DMO analyzes its website logs to constantly improve the value of the materials available on the website. Our website logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site.
Privacy of our email lists:
DMO maintains several email lists to keep DMO members, the press, and interested members of the general public informed about breaking events. Individuals must affirmatively request to join our mailing lists by signing up through a form on our web site, by requesting this information via email, by signing up for this information at industry tradeshows, or by entering one of our contests. In addition, we configure our list server software to refuse to divulge the email addresses of our list subscribers to anyone but authorized DMO staff, including other list subscribers.
Vendor Sponsored Promotions:
In some promotions where prizes are given, we do gather information on individuals entering the contests via entry forms or email. In some cases that information will be shared with the sponsoring vendor. In these instances the contest will clearly state this fact.
