Haracoin, Inc, a United States based cryptocurrency company, announced at the Sundance Film Festival they will have an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) within the first quarter of 2018. Haracoin plans for its cryptocurrency to be a game changer for indie producers to power feature film development, production and distribution.

In celebration of the upcoming Haracoin ICO, the company gifted some of its cryptocurrency this year at the Music Lodge Gifting Suite to celebrities at the Sundance Film Festival. The company has already partnered with indie movie studios for a slate of feature films including powering the funding of “Starlight," a $100 million A-List 3D animated film about angels produced by Utah-based Genesis Animation. “Starlight" is currently in pre-production and has secured voice talents of John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings) and Larry King (Larry King Live). Other films moving forward with Haracoin are “The Dome," “Crossroads to Shaolin," “Speed of Light," “Lost in Love," a musical based on the greatest hits of Air Supply and many others.
